Scott Baumgartner graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Scott is employed by AREVA Inc. as the Director of Innovation & Entrepreneurship. He is responsible for internal innovation, external partnerships, and new solution development across North America. During his 10 years with AREVA, Scott has served in various leadership roles across fuels, heavy component fabrication, project management, outage operations, and mechanical design in both the nuclear and solar sectors. He is an AREVA NA-YGN Past President, and currently the President of the AREVA Lynchburg Toastmasters chapter devoted to helping others improve their communication skills.
Scott's main hobbies are soccer, travel, photography, and music. He has played soccer since he was 4 years old, traveled to 42 states and 11 countries, shoots landscape photography in remote locations, and plays the bass guitar. In his downtime, Scott enjoys learning about military history and watching independent films.
