Darren Gale received both his Bachelor and Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering, with Honors, from Kansas State University. He received his Master of Business Administration from Averett College.
Darren is now employed by Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) as Vice President, Nuclear Services, Nuclear Power Generation (NPG). The NPG group was formed in 2007 to refocus B&W's efforts in the commercial nuclear power industry. Darren's responsibilities include P&L, technology development, business development, and merger and acquisition efforts associated with servicing the operating nuclear power plants in the U.S. Darren also serves on the Advisory Committee, Nuclear and Radiological Engineering Department, University of Florida.
Darren resides in Lynchburg, Virginia. He serves on Boards of Directors for The United Way of Central Virginia and Girls on the Run of Greater Lynchburg (President), and has been appointed by the Lynchburg City Council to serve on the Lynchburg Regional Airport Commission. Darren enjoys volunteering to support the Holy Cross Catholic Youth Group and he regularly donates platelets to the American Red Cross. The remainder of his time is spent with his wife and two children, enjoying a book or a movie, or playing golf.
